9 Worst Cars You Can Buy

9) Cadillac Escalade

You can’t miss the impressive looking Cadillac Escalade when it pulls up next to you. The imposing size and intimidating front end truly make a statement. Unfortunately, not all statements are good. The Escalade tanked in the Luxury SUV category. For a price tag of $73,395-$97,795, many consumers expect reliability that rates higher, rather than well below average. It only gets 16 mpg. The ride is stiff, and it handles poorly. The second-row seats are an awkward height and the third seat is claustrophobic. To top it off, the infotainment system is not intuitive at all. The Audi Q7 took the top rating in this category, but the editors even go as far as suggesting a Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon XL with some key upgrades as a better choice.
