9 Tips for Living Without a Bank Account and Fees

9) Try to Get a Secured Credit Card

If you want to buy things using credit cards but you do not have a bank account, you can get a secured credit card. With these cards, you pay an initial deposit, then they function like other credit cards. With this tool, you can help build up your credit score when you make purchases and consistently pay back what you owe. This is beneficial because it can help you obtain loans, other credit cards, and perhaps even a bank account if you later decide that you want one. Although secured credit cards often do not have a high credit limit, thus limiting how much you can buy, you will still be able to use them for your routine smaller expenses. Additionally, these cards can have high interest rates, so if you use them, make sure to pay off your debt on time to avoid these high interest fees.
