6) Be Charitable
Tax payers can receive breaks by being good samaritans. Generosity is acknowledged in tax deductible donations. Whether you give money to your local Catholic charity or offer up to $13,000 to your grandchild for college tuition and claim it as a gift, that money is tax free and with good intentions. In the long run, tax free donations will allow you to give even more money, mak-ing the world a much happier place! The charities to which you donate will also be saving money in the end. The next time you get around to some heavy spring cleaning, take those unwanted bags of clothes to your nearest Goodwill and ask for a receipt that documents your contribution.
