Central Pasco is 25 miles south of Tampa and was ranked 45th out of the top 50 places to live in 2016 by Money Magazine. It is 30 miles inland and offers easy access to Tampa, which is a hub for several Fortune 500 companies. The population is 131,248 and the median home price is $185,276. It is part of Pasco County, which is also called Land O’ Lakes due to the 100 bodies of water scattered throughout. Residents have many outdoor opportunities like golfing, tennis and boating. The area is also unique, being home to many clothing-optional nudist resorts. Crews Lake Wilderness Park covers 113 acres and has bike paths and a riding railroad. Additionally, Sunlake High School is home to the Aerospace Career Academy.
