Belle Meade, the neighborhood with the highest per capita income in Tennessee, is a Nashville suburb. There are over 2,800 residents of whom the median age is 46, according to Livability. The per capita income here is $104,016, so residents can afford a comfortable life. Because the neighborhood residents are wealthy, Belle Meade tends to be thought of as an exclusive place to live. If you do choose to settle here though, you can be sure of your safety. The police are known for enforcing laws well, and Niche ranks this town as the safest place in Tennessee. Home values and taxes are quite high, but buildings remain traditional and appealing. Additionally, Belle Meade allows for easy transport into the city and nearby parks.
